When you discover - for the umpteenth time - that your Alzheimer'd Ma has again turned off the hot water system "maybe a few days ago", there is no alternative than to trek out to B&Q, buy a rabbit latch and padlock and seal the cupboard up.

Then stand back to admire your carpentry skills and think "What the fcuk are we doing here?"
