Hard to believe...

...that it's over five years since the Blockheads' front man shuffled off.

The only time I saw him 'live' was at Portsmouth's Guildhall, when a small fire under the stage had the firemen rushing on set and the crowd all thinking it was part of the gig.

Ian just sang on, oblivious.

So we're off to a Blockheads' gig tonight, down Southampton way. Be interesting to see how they front up, thirty odd years on.
